Analysis of the Accounts Receivable Process with Enterprise Architecture Approach and ERP systems in a Cuban hotel

Abstract

The Cuban hotel is an institution with 100 % Cuban administration, which offers a wide
variety of excellent services and highly trained staff that will make your stay an
unforgettable experience. The accounts receivable process, which belongs to the risk
department, is the object of study of this research and to comply with it, specific objectives
were established in order to detect discrepancies between the current process and the best
practices documented in the literature. The analysis of the process is based on modeling
with BPMN as a business architecture tool and the use of the Ishikawa diagram as an
integrative method of detected solutions. Carrying out the research made it possible to
arrive at essential requirements in the process, which can be solved with the capabilities of
different Odoo ERP modules, which indicates as an alternative solution to integration of
them into the process under study
