Abstract

The quality of water during consumption is of great importance to maintain adequate health. This research proposes the design of a system for the characterization and measurement of ozone concentration during the water purification process using the ultraviolet photometry method. For this, several application programs are used that facilitate the simulation and programming work of each block necessary in the investigation. Through an experimental method, the proposed design based on the use of a microprocessor is verified and the results obtained during the development of a laboratory prototype are statistically verified.
